This is the part I love most.
You see a rusty chain.
That’s it.
Just an old piece of metal sitting in the dirt.
But then you start asking questions.
Who put it there?
Why did they need it?
How long has it been underground?
How many times did that mailbox survive because of it?
There’s a whole little story hiding underneath something that most people would walk right past.
That’s what makes old properties so interesting.
The best discoveries aren’t always valuable.
